Being old and grouchy as we are and having been around the block quite a few times, we usually approach these "how-to" things with a little bit of an "I'll tell YOU how to!" attitude. And that's exactly how we approached this list (but we clicked through on it anyway! see notes below on the effectiveness of top 10 hoo-ha.) brought to us by something called Copywriting 101 through LinkedIn. Lots of attitude and a modicum of condescension. But it was great! We actually learned something. So you can just take your "old dogs . . . " homily and shove it someplace new and improved.
